My intent is to articulate issues of contemporary culture and art through installations of similar objects that embody social and/or aesthetic ideas in ways that allow future generations to study how we lived and created. Philosophically and socially, I make work to strengthen the artist’ relationship with the public at large and to challenge how “fine art” is defined. My studio ambition is to integrate image, object and frame using abstraction to make pictures or settings that read as something familiar.
