PGAAMCC is ‘A Home for Excellence’’ and we proudly present #MoreThanAMonth, a four day festival full of joy, cultural excitement and entertainment for the whole family. Our 2019 theme is inspired by the honorable Marcus Garvey’s quote, “Up You Mighty Race, Accomplish What You Will!” We recognize past accomplishments across the African diaspora, and seek to empower Black futures, innovators, and community influencers.

Supernatural Festival

This year is our third annual 2019 Black Creatives Festival (August 30-31).

A Celebration of Black Creatives, PGAAMCC presents a festival with curated visual arts, music, and workshops that will investigate a prosperous future for members of the African Diaspora. This festival is our most anticipated event of the year. In the past years The Rated PG Black Arts Festival has presented and promoted the talented voices and visual artists in our local community. We will also feature artists vendors, food trucks, performers, art workshops, games and more! Come join us for an inclusive celebration of the many facets of the diaspora. PGAAMCC will host a festival that center narratives of the African Diaspora, and actively engage dialog and activity that fosters a beautiful future for Black bodies. From health and wellness, to generational traditions and political advocacy, our diverse programs look to connect and inspire our community. Our theme of A Celebration of Black Creatives continues inspires programs that focus on individuality, identity, and the empowerment of our local communities.
