CPA sought for the growing and vibrant Prince George’s African American Museum & Cultural Center in North Brentwood, Md. Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring sound fiscal integrity of all financial operations of the organization which includes managing the day to day operations, processing payroll, developing and managing organizational/program budgets, managing treasury functions, grant management and establishing solid internal controls while producing timely and accurate financial statements. Duties also include managing the annual audit, responding to all regulatory authorities requests for fiscal data. Some HR functions include annual review and renewal of benefits and insurance coverages. 20 hours/week- Flexible Schedule. Must have an interest in African American Art and/or Culture. $30/hr.
Education:
Required, CPA – 3-5 years of non-profit experience, 2 years grant management and 2 years proficiency in QuickBooks or similar automated accounting software.
